1. The house

COLMENA is operated by Casa COLMENA S.A., a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, with offices in San José. These Terms govern your use of colmena.cr and any purchase made through it.

2. Orders & pricing

Prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD) and include any applicable Costa Rica value-added tax for domestic shipments. We reserve the right to correct pricing or descriptive errors and to decline or cancel any order before shipment.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by our partner gateway, ONVO. We do not store card numbers on our servers. By placing an order you confirm that the payment method belongs to you.

4. Shipping & delivery

See our Shipping page for full details. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier; we assist with any claims.

5. Returns

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — photography, copy, patterns, designs — belongs to Casa COLMENA S.A. and may not be reproduced without our written consent.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Costa Rican consumer-protection law (Ley 7472), our liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of San José, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection forums.
